One of my good friends introduced me to Body Harmony after her own successful experience, and I could have not been happier! The process to start therapy was quiet easy as the staff are very helpful and responsive. Most importantly, the therapist that I have been seeing for four months now, Isha Mody, is exceptionally knowledgable, professional, respectful and genuinely a caring provider. Isha went above and beyond to ensure that the source of my pain is correctly identified and then began to instruct me to make practical changes in my habits and use correct stretches to relive and eliminate pain. I am very pleased with the care that I have been receiving from Body Harmony and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great physical therapy provider

I had one-on-one therapy with my therapist for a male pelvic floor issue. My therapy lasted about 3 months. My therapist was very professional, answering my questions and providing explanations that were clear and thorough. The facility was clean and sessions were conducted in a private room. I would recommend this practice for anyone experiencing a pelvic floorissue.

If there’s one thing I actually looked forward to postpartum, it’s every PT session I attended at Body Harmony with Cheyenne. I thought my postpartum body was my forever body but investing in PT made me realize that anything can be repaired with proper breathing, form and consistency. All things that can easily overlooked when thrown into the chaos of motherhood!Body Harmony was very professional, highly educational and I would even say ESSENTIAL after a long painful pregnancy and labor journey. I’m excited to get back into running thanks to the program Cheyenne had created for me. Front desk was also super nice and welcoming.Surprised there aren’t any more reviews of this place - it was a godsend. I went from feeling like a floppy noodle on Day 1 to getting my core back and into my regular workout routine 15 weeks after. Definitely worth the investment. Thank you!!

Body harmony PT studio is a hidden gem inside of the iconic Woolworth building. I am so great full that my medical provider listed them among recommended practices for my therapy needs. To start they got me in for my initial evaluation for pelvic floor treatment on the same day right after I left my provider with the referral. They continue to be accommodating to my scheduling needs and always welcome me with such kindness and a smile. I see Dr. Rosanne and only have the great things to say about her. Shes a veteran in her feild of pelvic floor therapy and it really shows with her breadth of knowledge and understanding of the body. She’s very warm, caring, sensitive and all around such a great therapist and human. She knows how to put you at ease and treats you like family as does the entire practice. I highly recommend BHPT and it’s so worth making the trip from Staten Island.

Words really cannot express how grateful I am for the amazing care that I've gotten from all of the kind and knowledgeable PTs at Body Harmony and especially from my primary PT Roseanne. Before I started treatment I was in so much pain, was limited in my daily activities and felt hopeless and defeated- in fact I was told by several doctors that surgery was my only option. I've now have regained my quality of life, resumed my previous level of activity and live almost pain-free- and without surgery. She's also taught me strategies and a home exercise program so that I can continue to manage independently. My experience here has been life-changing.

Dani has changed my life. I came in with severe pelvic floor dysfunction and through my work with Dani, I have fully recovered! I can now live my life in peace, without having to work around my symptoms. She is so knowledgable and takes time to educate you on the ways your body functions so that you can improve your health and wellbeing. I felt seen, heard, and cared for in her office, and I can't recommend her enough! She not only treated the pelvic dysfunction, but helped me to see my body as the integrated being that it is. Thank you for everything, Dani!

Prior to our initial session at Body Harmony, we were very unaware of what Pelvic Floor Therapy was, rather it was something highly recommended by our midwives after a traumatic birthing experience. Thanks to the team here, from the secretary who greets you by name, to my amazing therapist Isha, my husband and I have learned so much! We leave every session feeling confident and knowledgeable of the progress we’ve made and the progress to come. I’d recommend Body Harmony to EVERYONE, Im now a fierce Pelvic Floor therapy advocate!
Dr Naz is extremely knowledgeable and actually certified in pelvic rehab (not all are so you have to be careful). I have already begun to see improvements in my pelvic floor and diastasis recti, and if it wasn’t for her I would be doing the OPPOSITE of what’s needed to heal. If you’re going to invest your time and money anywhere it should be here because this is the real deal. The front staff is also INCREDIBLE- quick/timely, accommodating, professional, organized and adheres to Covid cleanliness.

Not only do they have amazing PTs (Naz is great!) but their reception staff is super nice and helpful. A great place to go.

My physical therapist Alyssa has been amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Her assessments are thorough, she listens to all of my concerns, and she gives me customized exercises to do at home. I’ve had many physical therapists and Alyssa is one of the best. She really cares about both my physical and emotional well-being and health which is rare to find! And she frequently speaks to my physician which is also rare but so helpful.

Body Harmony is great. Alyssa Hariprashad is an amazing physical therapist. The office is clean and convenient. The people are nice and professional. It’s everything you’d want from a physical therapy office.

I only have positive things to say about Body Harmony Physical Therapy. From the person on the front desk to my physical therapist, I always was very well treated and respected. I also made great progress in my treatment in a short period of time. My physical therapist, was very capable, disciplined, and someone very pleasant to be around. I definitely recommend Body Harmony Physical Therapy to anyone who wants to feel better and more comfortable with their bodies.

I could not recommend Body Harmony more highly. In fact, I recommend them to everyone I know! The staff are all lovely, and go above and beyond to be helpful and answer as many questions as I have. I feel so safe and cared for by everyone there. If you are looking for a pelvic floor therapy group that feels welcoming, and very open to talking about everything in a shame-free way, with excellent staff and practitioners — this is the place.

I can not say enough good things about Body Harmony. The care and support I have gotten here from Nazneen and Alyssa are unbeatable. Stacy has always been accommodating with appointments & Janet very helpful with my insurance. While pelvic floor therapy is a very personal type of therapy, I have always been made to feel very comfortable & am extremely happy with my progress. If I could I would give them 10 stars!!!

I have so many good things to say about Body Harmony. After I had my daughter, my body, and specifically my abs, felt weak and off balance. After working with Nazneen I have less pain and feel so much stronger. My core strength is in better shape than before I had a baby! I highly recommend seeing them if you are feeling any discomfort or weakness. I also love the support staff, the front desk is so nice and super responsive. They make booking appointments really easy!

Finding Body Harmony and working with Victoria Garrett completely changed my pregnancy. I came in with a lot of pain related to the new load of weight my body was carrying. After working with Victoria I felt more empowered and knowledgable about my body during pregnancy. She helped me gain the tools to feel so much more comfortable and at ease. Plus she is a true delight as is the front desk team. I can’t say enough good things about this practice!

Love Naz and the staff! I am feeling very hopeful about a condition getting better that I thought I would just have to accept as part of my life. I remember going in for my first visit and Naz starting to piece together these issues I was having and crying because I was so grateful to finally feel seen and validated. I am so grateful for the time they spent working with me, and for leading me on this path to feeling like I’m in a much better place. It has been such an emotional process, and they were there for me every step of the way!

I LOVE this place. Everyone made me feel welcome the moment I walked through the door. The front desk staff is super warm & friendly but my PT Alyssa is phenomenal. She made me feel at home and took her time to really evaluate my body and figure out what was going on with me. I would recommend her to anyone. Super skilled and knowledgeable, plus had a detailed answer for every question I had. I’ll definitely continue to see her in the near future

My experience was definitely a positive one! Victoria Garrett helped me with a wide range of strategies and techniques to improve my quality of life in so many ways. Through various stretches, breathing exercises and workouts, she provided what was necessary to strengthen different areas of my body and learn to relax. Not only is Victoria Garrett one of the most knowledgeable people I have met, but she clearly enjoys what she does and it is reflected in so many ways. She has a kind and caring personality and goes above and beyond to find the most efficient ways to help others. I highly recommend Body Harmony Physical Therapy!

Really kind staff and beautiful space. Victoria is an incredible therapist. I went in to get evaluated postpartum and wasn’t sure what to expect but I have come out of my therapy sessions with more knowledge on the physiology of my pain and how to properly regain strength postpartum. It was worth commute from queens and every penny. Highly recommend!

For months I had been struggling with the symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis and pelvic floor dysfunction. I was frustrated with physicians and other PTs, because their approaches were simply not alleviating my pain. After working with Nazneen for only a few weeks, my symptoms improved. She listened attentively to my whole history, and after an initial consultation found that my pelvic floor muscles were extremely tight, which was causing pain around my bladder. Now I’ve gone from having symptoms and pain almost all day, to infrequent small flare ups. From logistics to care, Body Harmony has led me through managing my condition so that I can live life fully again.

Having taken a year to receive an accurate diagnosis for an auto-immune disorder, it was an enormous relief to have a doctor recommend pelvic physical therapy instead of banning me from exercise and sticking me on steroid indefinitely. Body Harmony put me on a much happier path to recovery and pain management. My health made a dramatic improvement within a couple of months, under the supervision and care of my PT, Jasmine. From the get-go, she was kind, knowledgeable, professional and good humored. Because she has treated other patients with the same concerns, I felt immediately assured that I was on the way to recovery from the first session. I’d shown up sick, tired and anxious, and I took her directions to make changes to my diet, to do my exercises and to attend sessions weekly and it all made the difference. I left pretty much asymptomatic, and confident that I had a plan for my managing symptoms if they recur and with a much happier relationship with my body. I had to pay out-of-pocket but it was worth every cent because this is where I was finally able to get the guidance, and the treatment that made me better. I’d had physical therapy for sports injuries previously, so I knew this approach to healing is effective and no joke. It was news to me but perfectly reasonable that there’s PT specifically for the pelvic floor, and I bet more people could make use of it if they knew about it. Body Harmony is doing really important work to support women’s health and wellbeing.

Amazing staff from the front desk to my PT (Alyssa). They make me feel at home and provide great treatment! Highly recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at Body Harmony was very positive. After having my second child I had quite a bit of tailbone pain and weakness in my pelvic floor. I had the pleasure of working with Victoria Garrett as my specialist. She really was thorough in identifying what hurt exactly, and in determining what exacerbated/ameliorated the pain. All her adjustments were gentle but dead-on, and overall I found her practice to be very thoughtful. As far as the facility, desk staff, etc. everyone is professional and accessible. They were willing to work with my insurance and the facility was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend Body Harmony and Dr. Garret to anyone else in my former circumstances.

I suffered 12 months of debilitating lower back pain before consulting with Naz.
Over the course of this year (before working with Naz)- I had consulted with multiple physical therapists who were on my insurance network. They mis-diagnosed my condition as mechanical lower back pain and recommended exercises that did not help. After a frustrating and painful 5 months of therapy, I started seeing chiropractors. Another 4 months passed and still no relief. My condition only got worse. As worse as I had to use Tens machine to alleviate pain to even get off my bed every morning. I also consulted a spine specialist, and had an MRI which did not reveal any disc issues. At this point, I was losing hope that the cause of pain would ever be diagnosed and be cured.
Then (based on an external reference), I started to consult with Naz. In 3-4 visits, I started to feel a difference. The pain was going down, but slowly. Naz started to work on a variety of techniques- releasing my diaphragm, trained me to use Com-Pressor sacroiliac belt, taped my ribs to align them. Plus she recommended targeted exercises that focused on specific muscles where I had a problem. And this where (I believe) Naz excels. It might look like a simple leg lift exercise, but her exercises/techniques isolate a specific muscle to mobilize and strengthen it. I have not seen a physical therapist who knew exactly what s/he was doing and is as knowledgeable as Naz.
While working on therapy (releasing and strengthening muscles), Naz wanted to determine the root cause of the pain. She recommended to work with a doctor and get more imaging done. And the final diagnosis were- left hip labral tear and osteoid osteoma in my L5. Given the improvement with my mobility and pain, we decided to continue with physical therapy and not go for any intrusive surgical procedures.
Finally, after 18 months of excruciating pain, I am pain free and back to the regular lifecycle – enjoying my running, tennis and other activities.
And this wouldn’t have been possible if not for Naz. Thank you very much!!! I would recommend Naz to any patient in need of a committed, adept and knowledgeable physical therapist.

Using Body Harmony’s services was one of the best things I did for myself after giving birth. My program was customized very specifically and thoughtfully for my postpartum goals and abilities. It was a gentle–but challenging–almost total-body rehabilitation. The office atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and I was encouraged to bring along my baby which was not only life-savingly convenient, but fun for her, too; the staff was so sweet to her and either entertained her or set up a safe space for her to play. Having profession guidance as I healed really took a load off my mind so I could focus on my new role: mom!

I had a bad experience at a different location with pelvic floor therapy. When I started therapy at Body Harmony, it was a totally different experience. Right from the get go I noticed a huge difference in how they treat patients from beginning to end. At Bh, you have the full attention of the therapist for 1 solid hour using a variety of techniques. The therapists are always available to answer any question or concerns which you may have. The front desk is very helpful in trying to schedule an appointment as well as setting up a payment plan. There are no delays or hidden fees. Thanks to the professionals at Body Harmony, I feel like a new person compared to when I walked in just 6 months ago. Highly recommended! Thank you Roseanne, Mishka, Aida, and Nazneen for a delightful experience.

Regarding the very embarrassing problem of incontinence: I’m a 68-year-old female who had problems with urinary urgency after menopause. After a diagnosis of breast cancer, I had to stop hormonal replacement. With no hormones, plus scar tissue, after a hysterectomy and bladder lift, I needed help because I was having accidents. I had additional problems with irritable bowel syndrome to the point that I had to stay home if my bowels were at all loose.
My Urologist sent me to Nazneen Vasi, who first treated the internal scar tissue with myofascial manipulation. Then she trained me in better techniques for doing kegel and other strengthening exercises. After a few sessions, I was greatly improved. After several months, I no longer have any problems with controlling my sphincters. I have told my Gynecologist and Oncologist about how successful the treatment has been for me. I understand that Ms. Vasi also treats men and I’m sure that any patient would be grateful for her tactfulness, her thorough professionalism, and above all, her ability to achieve results.

“In 2014 I was experiencing uncomfortable and sometimes painful urological issues that were increasingly getting worse. My first incliniation was to see a urologist, and after doing so, he recommended that I try pelvic floor physical therapy to avoid highly evasive tests that may have been unnecessary. Shortly after, I found Body Harmony and began physical therapy with Nazneen (Naz) Vasi. For almost two years I was treated for pelvic floor dysfunction as it turned out my pelvis was misaligned and my pelvic floor muscles were so tight that this was causing my internal discomfort and pain.
Naz and her highly qualified staff transformed my life! I never imagined that I would be 100% better after committing to physical therapy. I am forever grateful for the transformative work that Naz, Justine and Roseanne have done to improve my quality of life. It was a bittersweet moment when I learned that I was finished with my sessions as I was thrilled that my health was back on track, but I knew I’d miss all of the physical therapists and staff.”

LR, 41 yrs old, female
After undergoing several surgeries for endometrioma, cysts and fibroids, I developed severe post surgical complications, which included swelling, urinary and bowel dysfunctions, muscle spasms, abdominal, lower back and leg pain. A couple of months after the surgery, both my urologist and my gynecologist recommended that I do some pelvic floor therapy to address the dysfunctions. I started therapy in April 2008 with Nazneen Vasi.
After a couple of months of a combination of vaginal massages, stretching and abdominal massage techniques, my symptoms significantly reduced. The muscle spasms that I felt during urination got better over the course of treatment. Nazneen was always optimistic for my recovery. She was most compassionate and made several recommendations for at home care in between sessions.
Her treatments were so valuable to me that I followed her when she opened her own practice. There, we continued my pelvic floor therapy and also focused on scar management to prevent further adhesions and pain. After a year and 9 months of therapy, I am back to 99 %. Both my urologist and gynecologist are amazed with my recovery.
I have learned several breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques as well as abdominal massages to prevent the spasms. There is not a day that I am not grateful for Nazneen, her understanding, dedication and most of all her healing magical hands!
I would recommend her to anyone who believes in a holistic and natural approach to post surgery complications.

Nazneen is not only doing excellent work on your body, she keeps detailed track of your developments over time and asks all the right questions about other factors in you life, like habits at home or at work, that might have an impact on your condition. It is her taking into account all elements of your life, that makes her an outstanding physical therapist.

I saw three gynocologists about painful sex, which I suffered from originally becoming sexually active throughout my entire 20s. Finally, the third doctor recommended I see a pelvic floor specialist, and I made an appointment with Nazneen Vasi. From the start, she put me at ease. Her manner is both friendly and straightforward, while exuding competence in her field. I was a patient of hers for three months, and I would absolutely recommend her practice to anyone suffering from pain during intercourse. She not only alleviated my pain problems, she’s helped me gain a more rounded understanding of my body and my muscles. Furthermore, she treated not only the symptoms but also the overall, underlying issue, ensuring that I stay pain free. I could not recommend a physical therapist more highly.
JA, 31 years, dyspareunia
I have suffered from dysmenorrhea (painful periods) caused by a tilted uterus since I was a teenager. After nearly 12 years of using the birth control pill to manage the pain, I wanted to get pregnant—but I was afraid to go off the pill. After just a week of seeing Nazneen Vasi for Maya Abdominal Massage, my uterus was in the optimal position and my menstrual cramps were under control. Before treatment, I used 800 mg of ibuprofen every four hours for at least four days each month to manage the pain (under doctor’s supervision). Now I take just 200 to 400 mg as needed for just two days. And they taught me to do the massage myself, so I can keep things in order at home. I recommend Nazneen and Maya Abdominal Massage to every cramping woman I meet. Her caring manner, unfailing professionalism and vast knowledge add up to superior treatment, and most importantly, results!
KRN, 31 years, female, dysmenorrhea
I suffered for years with unbearable pain due to a tear of my hip labrum. By the time I got to Naz I had been through 32 medical professionals including – five physical therapists, two surgeries, a laundry list of pills and many, many injections. The pain was so severe and had been for so long that I was convinced I would never live a pain free life. Not only did Naz rehabilitate me but, she took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my body. That context helped me emotionally wrap my head around what was happening to me. The care she took with me goes beyond any experience I have ever had with any medical professional. Today I live a pain free life and have a beautiful baby boy. Something I never, ever thought I would be able to do because of the pain. I cannot say enough about this amazing, amazing woman. I should have named my son Naz!
DS, age 37, female, hip pain
The words “thank you” could never quantify the immense gratitude I have for this caring, compassionate and skilled professional who made my daughter whole again. After years of misdiagnosis, well-intentioned but harmful physical therapy, my daughter was referred to Nazneen Vasi. Her first conversation with Naz , prior to her being a patient, lasted over an hour. She was able to calm my daughter and made it possible for her to been seen immediately.
Over the course of almost two years, she was able to undo years of damage and make my daughter healthy and well again. There was never a time she was not available and never time when she did not have a plan for resolving pain. To our family, she was truly a miracle.
I have the highest respect for her medical professionalism, her vast body of knowledge and the endless commitment to her patients. If all medical professionals were so dedicated and committed to excellence, the world would, indeed be a much better place. I would, without hesitation, refer Naz to anyone in need of a caring, committed, skilled and knowledgeable physical therapist.

I had been experiencing tailbone pain with unexplained cause for many months. I began seeing a typical physical therapist at a large group. After about 6 months of therapy, there was very little progress in reducing my tailbone pain. I was then encouraged to receive physical therapy from a pelvic floor specialist. On my first visit I received an incredibly thorough evaluation which took my total body into account and noted issues which had not been pointed out to me before. I was nervous about the pelvic floor therapy, however it turned out to be vital to my recovery. Months after my “graduation” from my therapy for my tailbone, I had an unrelated pain in my hip and had no doubt that I would return to Nazneen Vasi for my physical therapy. In addition to her skill, she always works to accommodate your schedule, has an office which is comfortable and appropriate for such sensitive therapy, and has been available through email.

I came to Nazneen a nervous wreck. A lot of things were going wrong with me medically all at once and I was having a problem coping. The main reason I came to her was that I had to urinate frequently and was up a lot during the night and therefore, not getting enough sleep. Actually, the first urologist I went to put me on medication for an overactive bladder, but I went for a second opinion to a wonderful doctor who said I had pelvic floor dysfunction and prescribed physical therapy. He also asked me if sex was painful and it was very painful. So with those 2 diagnoses he prescribed physical therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction. I had been to my regular gynecologist for 2 years beforehand complaining of pain and all she did was give me more hormones.
On my very first visit, Nazneen made me feel at ease.I kept asking how long it would take and she told me to be patient, which I wasn’t. My biggest concern at first was the frequency of urination and after just about a month, that was under control. Next we worked on my painful sex problem which was bad with pain, spasms, etc. I literally couldn’t have sex at all. Slowly over time, with Nazneen’s help the problem lessened until it was gone. Even though I wasn’t too sure of it, Nazneen was confident I would get better. She is very patient and she showed me exercises to do which I still do religiously every night – don’t want the problems to come back. If I ever have the problem again (which I hope never happens) I would be on the phone right away making an appointment with Naz in a heartbeat. In all I would say it took less than 6 months to be pain free.
I also liked our chats we had during the therapy. Thank you again Naz!!!!!!

A few years ago, I suffered multiple injuries from a traumatic accident. As I struggled to rebuild my life, I was dealing with the aftermath of a brain injury, orthopedic injuries and urinary incontinence. Roseanne took the time needed to put me at ease and assisted me with managing my injuries and controlling the incontinence. She also went the extra mile and reached out to the many medical professionals I see on a regular basis. What really makes Roseanne stand out is her experience dealing with the effects of a traumatic brain injury. She allows me to put my fear aside and receive the healing treatment I need. The results are amazing and the home exercise program supports the wonderful treatment she gives.
44 year old, female, multiple injuries
I suffered from severe urinary incontinence and a prolapsed bladder following childbirth. For over a month I had zero bladder control and had to wear adult diapers. It was a very stressful period of my life. I was a new mom to a baby with colic, I wasn’t sleeping or eating enough, and on top of all this I had this embarrassing condition that made it difficult to get out of the house and there was no sign to suggest I would get better.
After nearly a month of seeing absolutely no change, my urogynocologist referred me to Body Harmony PT. The idea was that I probably would need surgery, but I should do PT to see how much I could improve first. It was only after I started seeing Nazneen that I finally started seeing signs of improvement. I extended my maternity leave and did an aggressive series of PT sessions with Naz, 3 to 5 a week. I kept getting better and better. After a few month months, I improved to the point where I could wear a very thin liner as a back up and could go back to work without any stress or fear. Now, almost a year after my baby’s birthday, I only see Nazneen for the occasional follow-up and don’t even need a liner.
In addition to Naz’s contribution to my improvement, she was extremely accommodating to the fact that I was a new mom, and later a working mom. Babies are welcome at Body Harmony, and there were times when my baby was so out of control that I would comfort nurse him during our sessions. When I found it challenging to find time to do all the “homework” exercises, Naz would try to find ways to modify them to work around my lifestyle. She was also very generous about scheduling. She is unbelievably empathetic when it comes to moms.
I cannot recommend Nazneen enough. I owe her so much.

I was referred to Body Harmony Physical Therapy for pelvic floor physical therapy to address an overactive bladder. Nazneen Vasi helped me to better understand what was causing the problem, and we worked out a treatment plan. As a medical professional, Naz is an acutely sensitive and intuitive caregiver. Her knowledge and experience enable her to address patients’ issues and adjust treatment dynamically. After working with Naz and her colleague Justine for several months, not only is the problem with my bladder largely resolved, I feel empowered to control my health and can rely on the resources I learned from Body Harmony.

On this thanksgiving day, I am thankful for having had Roseanne as my therapist. She put me at ease from day 1 as we started our therapy to treat vaginismus and it just got better after each session. I overcame all my fears and in record time I fixed my mental and physical issues. I am now pregnant and expecting my first child. I will forever be grateful to Roseanne and highly recommend her!
ML, 32 year old female with vaginismus, dyspareunia, November 2015
I have had pelvic pain for 11 years. I was originally diagnosed with interstitial cystitis, a bladder condition. After dealing with a very strict diet and constant pain for 11 years to control the bladder condition, I thought the pain and frequent urination was what my life was and would continue to be. I tried a new urologist and he said the bladder condition I originally had usually morphs into a different condition. He said that my condition had morphed into pelvic floor dysfunction.
I started seeing the physical therapists at Body Harmony and they changed my life. I now live in a mostly pain free environment. When I do have pain, I have the tools to control the pain and work it out for myself. I started seeing them for pelvic floor dysfunction and pain with intercourse. I now have pain free intercourse with my husband whenever I want. It has been years since I have had that freedom in my life.
During the time I was in physical therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, I reinjured my lower back and Nazneen was kind enough to start treating that as well. She took the time to teach me the correct way to use abdominal muscles to stabilize my lower back. I have been doing it wrong for 13 years. She showed me how to take care of my own pressure points and just how to keep my back feeling pain free. I appreciate all the work and time they put into making me whole again!!!

MD, 34 years old, female – with urinary urgency and frequency, dyspareunia, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction with low back pain
I am extremely happy with the care and advice I received at Body Harmony Physical Therapy. I came to them on a referral from my ob/gyn. I was pregnant with my twin girls, and suffered from sharp pain in my lower back. I could hardly walk when I first arrived at the practice.
Roseanne was available right away, and after 1 hour in her hands, I was able to walk out back home without crying from pain!
She also taught me several exercises I could do on my own to help strengthening and relax my pregnant body. We met once or twice a week for a few weeks until I delivered my babies, and thanks to her, I was able to enjoy the last months of my pregnancy.
I am also grateful because I am feeling great now that my babies are born, and I am sure it is thanks the care I received before.
Roseanne is punctual, pays attention to how you feel and what you are going through. She is friendly and very professional, and makes you feel at ease right from the start.
Miska and Nazneen were also extremely patient and helpful when explaining to me how my health insurance would cover the care.

EF, 35 years old, female
I first developed problems relating to pelvic floor dysfunction in 2007. I had never heard of it before, and was very skeptical that it was causing systems of a constant UTI, yeast infection and painful intercourse. After many, many, many doctors ruled out infection, I was referred to go to pelvic floor physical therapy. I was so lucky to have my intake with Naz, who took the time to explain exactly what was going on, and offer very confident reassurance. I worked with her and Roseanne, and with 1-2 times a week visits and exercises at home, I started seeing results within a couple of months. The problems subsided with continued visits.
Last year, I started having very distressing problems relating to pelvic floor dysfunction again. Naz gave me a thorough examination, and again, explained to me exactly what was happening and why I had pain. She developed a plan and took things slow in our sessions, at a pace that I was comfortable with. I also worked with Roseanne again and she is just about the nicest person you can meet, and supportive both in and out of the sessions. An added bonus, both Naz and Roseanne make great conversation – I often felt like I was coming to hang out with a friend for an hour! I worked with both of them, 1-2 times a week, and I could distinctly feel myself getting better, by around the 6 week mark. In fact, my symptoms improved greatly after each and every session thereafter.
I am so thankful to Naz and Roseanne, who confidently helped me through a very intimate problem, and treated me with respect, dignity and patience. They are probably among the most experienced and knowledgeable physical therapists in the area, and are constantly going to classes and seminars to keep up with the latest treatments for pelvic floor dysfunction. The office staff was equally great, doing their best to accommodate my schedule and working with my insurance, even when it became very complicated. Needless to say, I trust them completely and can’t recommend Body Harmony highly enough
