Clinical Pilates

ONE-ON-ONE INSTRUCTION ON EITHER MAT OR REFORMER WITH A PHYSICAL THERAPIST.

Pilates was developed in the 1920s by Joseph Pilates as a form of exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility and breathing. At Body Harmony, clinical Pilates is individualized for patient-specific treatment after an injury or surgery to strengthen and tone your body.

What to expect:

  • An initial assessment to better understand which exercises will benefit you
  • Your therapist will build an individualized program of functional movements catered to your body, needs and daily functioning
  • 45-60 minutes, 1 on 1 sessions with a physical therapist
  • Breathwork to engage your core for effective functional movement
  • Hands on support and assistance in various postures and exercises 

We also provide Clinical Pilates sessions for:

  • Prenatal health
  • Postpartum rehabilitation 
  • Pilates for beginners
