Migraine

According to the Migraine Research Foundation, migraine is the third most prevalent illness in the world. Migraine is most common between the ages of 25 and 55. 1 in 4 U.S. households includes someone with migraine. 18% of American women, 6% of men, and 10% of children experience migraines.

Commonly Caused By:

  • High stress levels
  • Jaw clenching, grinding, neck pain

  • Salty, processed foods

  • Caffeinated beverages

  • Low blood sugar levels or fasting

Symptoms may include:

  • Severe throbbing head pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, TMD pain
  • Pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Extreme sensitivity to light and sound
